In an effort to provide the safest environment for our children, the Diocese of Fresno has implemented a Safe Environment Program. As parents you entrust your children to our care, and we take every effort to ensure their safety. As you probably know, every staff member, from the principal to the custodian, must be fingerprinted before they are hired. This provides not only a background check, but also future notification if any staff member commits a crime that makes their relationship with children questionable. Our new Safe Environment Program now includes training for all parents, after school volunteer coaches, parent volunteer drivers for any school activity (field trips or after school sports) and classroom volunteers, in addition to all employees.
Each volunteer parent is asked to sign a statement of compliance or volunteer Code of Conduct. This form is may be picked up in the school office and is also available on our school website.
We contract with Live Scan Fresno to fingerprint parents and volunteers. The fee is $50 which can be paid by cash or check to that company. For more information about fingerprints, please contact the school office.
